Chris MalliosI am just an average citizen who was fortunate enough to be asked to participate in this magnificent project. Mr. Trojanowski and Mr. Edelman should be thanked for their dedication to informing the citizens League City.  I love League City, Texas and there is not another place on this planet that I would want to live.  I have lived in League City most my life.  I got involved in politics because my mother took me along to the political functions.  (It was that or be baby sat by my older brothers.)  I have been involved in the politics of this town since I could vote.  (When I was younger I could only paint and hammer in plywood signs--- yes that is plywood LOL 4 X 8's were a pain to put up!)  Between my mother and me we have been the Democratic chair persons of pct. 455 since the mid "60's give or take a term or two.  (When is my daughter going to take over?)  I am a proud grandfather of the greatest little girl in the world, who will be another great product of CCISD.  (As her mother and her grandfather.)  I have participated in many school committees and believe in CCISD.  I have been able (with the help of council members) to participate on a few boards and commissions within our city.  I am out spoken and will defend my position without hesitation.  However, I am open minded enough to understand that my position may not always be popular or politically correct.  I believe that I have an open mind that can be changed if I see facts that warrant the change.  My allegiance is to the citizens of our city and what is in the best interest of the taxpayer not ANY group.  I believe city elections should be non partisan.  I believe that politics is not personal it is just the business of selecting the best possible candidate for the position to help League City move forward. Humor is a good thing.  I believe that after the election we should ALL be able to sit down at the table and break bread with one another because MANY minds, not just the few, make the best decisions.  My family is the greatest gift I could have.  My daughter has been a great education to me and has humbled me in ways only a father understands.  She is my reality check.  My wife is a great, lovely, kind, loving and VERY tolerable lady.  (imagine having to listen to me for 25 years in a row)  She is the center that keeps me focused when things get blurred.  (after running into a wall, a slammed door or a few knocks on the head things get blurred) I have absolute faith and trust in GOD.
